Coloradans for Nebraska Honored by Nebraska Alumni Association

The Coloradans for Nebraska were honored by the Nebraska Alumni Association at the NAA’s first annual Chapter and Organizations Recognition Night (CORNYs) in September 2012. The chapter, which serves University of Nebraska-Lincoln alumni and fans in the Denver metro area, earned an Award of Excellence for Leadership.
The Award of Excellence for Leadership honors the chapter or group that has a strong board structure, and excels in leadership development and volunteer engagement.
In addition to the Coloradans for Nebraska, CORNY awards were presented to nine chapters and groups that have demonstrated extraordinary service to the NAA and UNL. The complete list of winners is available online at HuskerAlum.org.
There are more than 60 UNL alumni chapters and groups across the country, all led by volunteers. Chapters and groups support UNL in many ways, from cheering for the Huskers at football watch parties to raising money for scholarships to send students to Lincoln.
