Letter from a Scholarship Recipient – Originally Published October 25, 2012

I felt that it was necessary to touch base with my fellow Coloradans For Nebraska before the rest of this semester went by any quicker. There is no doubt that this is my most difficult semester to date, as I am challenged on both a personal and academic level. However, I know that I am growing tremendously from this experience and am so glad to have the opportunity to experience it here, at UNL. Looking back at my time here (as I am currently a Senior), I have realized how quickly time flies by. I still feel like a Freshman, but with experience. I cannot imagine myself at any other college campus, as I have made life-long friendships and experienced being a part of a much larger family that goes beyond state boundaries. There truly is no place like Nebraska. Thank you, CFN for helping me along my way. I look forward to seeing some of you at the Watch Party in November. Go Big Red!
