Letter from Scholarship Recipient – Hilary Lengel

With one semester coming to a close, and a fresh new beginning in 2013, I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you.  Last semester blessed me with an abundance of field experience, gobs of lesson planning, and fabulous teachers to guide and instruct me through it all.  I expect nothing less from the coming spring semester.  It feels so great to finally be in the field and working with little children.  I cannot wait until I can have my own classroom, and help shape and mold students into eager and willing young learners.  It is because of this scholarship and the support of the CFN community that I have had so much luck at UNK and I will be ever thankful.  Unfortunately college doesn’t last forever, and this is my last semester on campus and then I hit the “almost” real world of student teaching.  I am very excited for this semester to come.  Thank you again for all the support and the luxury of the scholarship.  God bless and goooooo Huskers!
