Thank you very much for choosing me as a recipient of the CFN Scholarship. I can not express how thankful I am. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the luncheon to be recognized. I play baseball for UNK and we have two games that day. Thank you again for the scholarship.

Dear Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarship Committee,
I just wanted to write you and express my gratitude to you for the support you have shown and continue to show me in my pursuit of a college degree.  Your financial support is such a huge blessing.  I appreciate all of the time you spent reading the many applications you received from us students.  That is a very time consuming and exhausting process I am sure, but I thank you for your time and effort.  Attending college is a costly decision, but your support has helped me immensely.  I am excited to continue my college career into my senior year. Thank you again for your support
I also wanted to write you and let you know that unfortunately I will not be able to attend the banquet.  UNK spring break is the 17-25 of March and each spring break I have been blessed with the opportunity to attend a mission trip.  This year we are traveling to Las Vegas to share our faith with the people there.  We will not return back to Kearney until late on the 24th.  I am very very sorry that I will not be at the banquet but please send my regards to the other recipients of the scholarship as well as all those involved with making the CFN scholarship possible.  Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Kayla Kimberling

I wanted to thank you and the Coloradans for Nebraska group for honoring me with one of the CFN Scholarships.  I am very excited and looking forward to the Afternoon with Husker Legends.  I will be attending with my father, Paul Engel and my grandfather, Pastor James Engel.
I am honored to be a scholarship recipient and look forward to starting my life as a Husker!
Go Big Red!

I just wanted to quickly express my appreciation for selecting me as a scholarship recipient. Unfortunately, I will be out of the state for our Spring Break during the date of the reception so I will not be able to attend. My parents also will not be attending.
Thanks,
Jamie Mullen

Thank you so much for this great piece of news! I am so honored and flattered to be a recipient of the CFN scholarship again.
I will, unfortunately, be unable to attend the banquet on March 24 as I have to head back to Lincoln early for work. However, my parents (Joe and Diane Berry) would be honored to take my place.
Thank you again. Go Big Red!
Cayla Berry

Thank you so much for the scholarship a second year!!! I am very disappointed to say that neither I or my family will be able to attend the reception on the 24th. I hope it is a fun even and everyone enjoys the afternoon.
GBR!

First, I would like to thank you so much for honoring me with the privilege of being a 2012-2013 scholarship recipient!  Coloradans for Nebraska significantly helps in furthering my education and opportunities available to me at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  For that I am most grateful and have truly become a husker at heart with the support of the Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarship Committee!  There will be five of my family members accompanying me to An Afternoon with Husker Legends: my mother Diane Culver, my sister Brooke Culver, my grandma Donna Kusik, my grandpa Jeff Kusik and my other grandpa Roy Griffin. … We’re all excited for this event and look forward to meeting you!
Sincerely,
Mackenzie Culver

This is great news! I apologize for taking so long to respond to your email. I have been slammed with exams these past few weeks. Seems like all of the professors want to squeeze in as much as they can before spring break. I wanted to let you know that my family and I will not be able to attend the awards ceremony brunch on March 24th. I will be back in Lincoln during that time.
I would also like to thank you and CFN again for the scholarship. It is an honor!
Go big red!

Thank you so much for awarding me with this scholarship!
I have been trying to work with my manager to get that weekend off, but unfortunately a co-worker of mine just quit so I was told there was no way to have the weekend of the luncheon off.  I do hope to make it to one of the events we have later on this summer or into Husker season.
I hope you have a great day!
Erin Langmacher

Thank you, I appreciate this scholarship so much. I will be attending the luncheon along with my dad Rick Potter and my stepmom Jamie Potter.

Jaiden Potter

Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, I will not be able to attend. But I greatly appreciate being selected as one of your scholarship recipients! Thank you so much!
-Heather Brunelli

Thank you so much for the scholarship! This means so much to me. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the luncheon due to family obligations.
Thanks again,

Dear Coloradans for Nebraska,
Words cannot express my gratitude for honoring me as a Coloradans for Nebraska recipient for the 2012-2013 academic year.  I’m so privileged to be able to be apart of the wonderful academic program that is offered here at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  Nearing the end of my sophomore year I am delighted to say its been a crazy ride, discovering the ins and outs of college life, creating a family away from home, becoming apart of campus organizations, balancing classes and completely submerging myself in the husker atmosphere!  Because of your generosity I am able to continue to discover what the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has to offer and I absolutely cannot wait!  I thoroughly enjoyed the Coloradans for Nebraska event, An Afternoon with Huskers Legends, put on March 24th at the Holiday Inn & Suites.  It was great to see the faces behind the contributions that make this scholarship possible.  I truly feel like I have a team behind me, devoted to furthering my education and for that I am so thankful!  I look forward to spending this summer at home, in Ft. Collins, CO, and seeing all of my fellow Coloradans for Nebraska while assisting at the Coloradans for Nebraska Golf Tournament!  Until then Go Big Red!
